Meet Dana

Dana is an adventurer, a world traveler, and an enthusiastic sports fan. She likes to climb mountains, ride a bike 100 miles, and surf. An athlete herself and a trainer of professional athletes, she worked with players at the highest level of women's professional tennis, many ranked the best in the world. From the U.S. Open to Wimbledon, from Rolland Garros to the Australian Open, and many tournaments and countries in between, her broad and constant travel provided Dana the journey to experience wine and food around the world.

Circling the globe for 11 years visiting many of our most famous wine regions, from Australia to Africa, America to Europe, she visited more than 35 countries and 50 wine regions. Residing in Europe for over a decade, allowed her the opportunity to experience the history and tradition of wine in the "Old World."

When the wine bug bit, Dana chose a new path - she became a seeker in all things wine and food, dining with chefs and winemakers, chiefs and countrymen, always natives, sharing wine and eating the local cuisine. In every city, burg, and pueblo, people generously and with pride shared their time, their homes, and their local stories.

Returning home to Napa Valley, where Dana's family has been landowners, ranchers and farmers in the region since the 1850's, set the stage for her next natural step, creating UNIQUE Wine Experience.

Now, with UNIQUE, Dana can share her fond memories of lands she knows and loves, and when she respectfully combines that passion with her hometown knowledge of the Napa and Sonoma Valleys, she creates a mindful gift for you = a one of a kind wine experience in a truly unique place.
